Going to class is just part of what college is about. College is the time for you to meet new people, explore your interests and have a lot of fun. At CCM you have endless opportunities to do what interests you. There's a lot happening on campus - events, meetings, programs, films - just about every day.

How do you want to get involved? Sharing your dramatic, singing or comic skills at one of our ‘open mic’ nights? Serving on one of CCM’s college committees? Playing on one of the intramural teams? Displaying your art in our gallery? Acting in a ‘Shakespeare and Company’ production in the theatre?

At County College of Morris, we view every activity as an opportunity for you to learn - with fun and enthusiasm!

Maybe you want to serve on Student Government or participate as an Orientation Leader? Explore different cities and cultures with the International Students Club? Write for the campus newspaper? Perform with the college choir, chorale, orchestra, or jazz group? Or perhaps go riding with the Ski & Snowboard Club?

We believe that all of these activities are an integral part of your total educational experience at the County College of Morris.

Over thirty-five student clubs are active on campus. These include co-curricular clubs, special interest clubs, religious organizations, service organizations, honor societies, recreational clubs, and governance and planning organizations.

CCM's media organizations include our award-winning student newspaper, The Youngtown Edition.

County College of Morris fields eleven intercollegiate varsity teams and has an intramural sports program, providing a recreational sports program tailored to the needs of our student body.

 

In the area of performing arts, you have the opportunity to participate in a strong program with high quality productions. You can become involved in musical theatre, drama productions, and our acclaimed CCM Dance Theatre.
